The Goldstein Group Places Barnes & Noble on Route 22 West in Union New Jersey

PARAMUS, NJ. (2023) – The Goldstein Group, a leading provider of retail real estate services in New Jersey, announced it has placed Barnes & Noble, at 2401 US Highway 22 West, Union, NJ according to Chuck Lanyard, President of The Goldstein Group.

Barnes & Noble is taking 15,000 SF in the Union Plaza Shopping Center in a relocation from its Route 22 Springfield location and was represented by Chuck Lanyard and Marc Palestina, Director of The Goldstein Group; while Peter Robbins of Robbins Agency represented the landlord, United Leasehold LLC.

Union Plaza Shopping Center is anchored by ShopRite, Best Buy, DSW, Unique and Marshalls. Some of the shopping center’s other tenants are Dollar Tree, GNC, Great Clips, Snipes, Starbucks, Habit Burger, Aspen Dental, Foot Locker, and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.

“We are pleased to represent Barnes & Noble in their efforts to open new store locations as well as repositioning their existing stores in New Jersey,” said Lanyard. Barnes & Noble is the world’s largest retail bookseller with approximately 600 bookstores and is a leading retailer of content, digital media and educational products. They plan on opening 30 stores in 2023.

Barnes & Noble will continue to open its classic large bookstores, but also adapt based on what is available & affordable which will offer different experiences.  The newly designed stores include having full height bookshelves arranged more like an independent bookstore then its traditional big box store.

The Goldstein Group Announces the Sale of 144 Route 4 West in Paramus New Jersey

PARAMUS, NJ. (2023) –The Goldstein Group, a leading provider of retail real estate services announced the sale of 144 West State Route 4, Paramus, New Jersey according to Chuck Lanyard, President of The Goldstein Group.

The sale consisted of a 5,000 square foot building on 1.1 acres which was formerly occupied by Chakra Restaurant. Chuck Lanyard, President and Marc Palestina, Director for The Goldstein Group represented the seller, Chakra Realty Group LLC. Gregory Panayoti of NIA National Realty represented the purchaser, the Branning Group, Inc.

The Branning Group is family owned and operated for over 40 years. They are a certified repair and collision center which has earned a Gold Class I-Car Status for their training in the Collision Repair Industry.  In addition to this Paramus location, they are located in Union City, South Plainfield, Princeton, Freehold and Brunswick.
