Alan Goldstein is Founder and Chairman of The Goldstein Group, based in Paramus, NJ. He has over 30 years of business experience, primarily in the commercial real estate sector.

In 1986 he established The Goldstein Group, which has become New Jersey’s leading full-service retail real estate brokerage firm, providing a wide-range of services including landlord and tenant representation focused on leasing, sales, property maintenance, property management and financial services.

Mr. Goldstein’s vast experience involves all aspects of property disposition, land assemblage and real estate finance. He is actively involved in real estate development, capital placement and investment properties.

His achievements include negotiating transactions exceeding 5,000,000 square feet of retail space with an aggregate value in excess of $500,000,000 for such notable clients as Home Depot, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, AJ Wright, HomeGoods, CVS/Pharmacy, A&P, Albertson's, Walgreens and Pathmark.

  Chuck Lanyard, President    
 

Chuck Lanyard has over 35 years of extensive background in the leasing, planning, development and construction of retail space. Prior to joining The Goldstein Group, Chuck specialized in retail brokerage and consulting at Levey Companies, where he was involved in the disposition of over 100 Channel Home Centers throughout the Tri-State area.

Chuck was the past Chairman of the Planning Committee of the 2010 New York ICSC Conference, a member of the ICSC Next Generation Committee and a past member of the NJ State Supreme Court District Ethics Committee. He has been highlighted on the popular weekly radio program “The Road to Significance”, hosted by Sal Savo, which honors New Jersey business individuals who have been influential in giving back and helping others in their industry. He has also been a guest lecturer for over ten years at the NYU Graduate School Program for Real Estate. He is Co-Chair of the Retail Brokers Network (RBN) Restaurant Council, as well as a member of the association's Executive Board.

He is known throughout the industry as the "go to" retail real estate professional and has been guest speaker at numerous events for organizations such as NJBIZ, Real Share Real Estate Conferences, New Jersey Appraisal Association and the New Jersey Commerce and Industry Association. Chuck was recently honored by NJBIZ Magazine by being named one of New Jersey's "Top 50 Most Influential Real Estate Professionals". 

Chuck Lanyard was promoted to President of The Goldstein Group in 2000 and is responsible for the overall operations of the Retail Brokerage Division. He has represented many national and regional tenants throughout the state, such as Barnes & Noble, TJ Maxx, Capital One Bank, Pier 1 Imports, Trader Joe’s Specialty Stores, McDonald’s, Applebee’s, Darden Restaurants and TGI Friday’s Restaurants. Chuck heads the company’s Restaurant Division, as well as Team Paramus, which has consummated over 60 transactions in the Paramus market over the past five years.

   Neil Goldstein, Executive Vice President    
 

Neil Goldstein co-founded The Goldstein Group in 1986 and has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience.

As a broker, Neil has successfully completed the expansion of over 90 locations for General Nutrition Centers (GNC) and over 50 locations for Radio Shack. He has also assisted numerous retailers with their expansion into New Jersey, such as Marshall’s, HomeGoods, Rochester Big & Tall, PNC Bank, McDonald's, 7-Eleven, Pet Valu, Panchero’s Mexican Grill, Red Robin, Casual Male, Pearle Vision, Strauss Discount Auto and Blockbuster Video.

Neil has also represented a wide-range of landlords with their leasing efforts with properties ranging from free standing buildings and downtown business district locations to strip centers and power shopping centers.

Neil is directly responsible for office administration and the Company’s semi-annual Retail Vacancy Survey.

  Donald Goldstein, Senior Vice President    
 

Donald Goldstein work's primarily with "Mom and Pop" tenants where he uses his  40 years of retail experience to help guide small chains and start-up  companies.

He primarily concentrates on tenants requiring 1space under 10,000  square feet and focuses on properties in Northern New Jersey.

Donald  also handles numerous landlord property assignments and has completed deals with  Office Depot, H&R Block, Rainbow Shops, Blimpie, Verizon Wireless, Subway, Hudson City Savings Bank, LA Weight Loss, Postnet, Paragon Credit Union, Party Land, Dots, The Great Frame Up, Payless Shoe Source, Kumon Learning Centers, T-Mobile, Manhattan Bagel and Rita’s Ices.

  Lew Finkelstein, Vice President    
 

Lew Finkelstein joined The Goldstein Group in 2000 and quickly became one of our most successful sales associates, being promoted to Vice President in 2005. He has received multiple "Power Broker of the Year" awards from CoStar.

Lew's ability to understand all sides of a  transaction, along with his enthusiasm, have led to numerous property  and tenant assignments.

Lew represents numerous landlords in both leasing and sales transactions and has been a leading broker in representing major tenants exclusively, including 7-Eleven in their New Jersey expansion plans.  Other retailer representations have included Capital One Bank, T-Mobile, Great Clips, Strauss Discount Auto, Verizon Wireless, Retro Fitness and Lucille Roberts.

Lew has brokered the sale of numerous single-tenanted properties, as well as multi-tenanted shopping centers.

  Florian Suserman, Vice President    
 

Florian Suserman has a varied background in the leasing of retail space. Prior to joining The Goldstein Group, he owned and operated a chain of fine gifts stores in regional malls throughout New Jersey for over 20 years.

Florian’s hands-on experience in the retail industry provides him with valuable real estate knowledge. He represents many tenants with lease negotiations and site selection.

Florian was promoted to Vice President in 2007 and is a member of The Goldstein Group’s Route 10 and Route 23 Sales Teams. Florian also represents numerous retail properties throughout Northern and Central New Jersey, ranging from downtown business districts to strip centers and power shopping centers.

  Curtis Nassau, Vice President    
 

Curtis Nassau is a well-seasoned retail brokerage professional with nearly 15 years of experience in the retail field specializing in both tenant and landlord representation. He joined the Company in 2003 and was appointed Vice President in 2011.

Curtis is currently focused on the franchise roll-out of Smashburger and Hand & Stone Spas, as well as the continued franchise expansion of Planet Fitness and LA Boxing in New Jersey. He also represents Dollar General in their expansion throughout Northern and Central New Jersey. Other national tenants with whom he has closed deals include Aldi Supermarkets, McDonald’s, Gold’s Gym, White Castle, H&R Block, Kumon Learning Centers, Goodwill Industries, Edward Jones, Avis, Sleepy’s, Verizon, Great Clips, Hollywood Tans, My Gym and Pearle Vision.

As the Retail Project Manager in North America for Ethan Allen Global Inc., he was responsible for site selection and facilitated the leasing and sale of properties throughout the U.S. He also handled numerous lease renewals, store relocations and property dispositions throughout North America for the company.

Mark currently represents numerous landlords in procuring tenants for their space, as well as national and regional retailers, including Ethan Allen.
