Alan co-founded The Goldstein Group in 1986 and has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience. His achievements include  negotiating transactions exceeding 5,000,000 square feet of retail space with an aggregate value in excess of $500,000,000 for such notable clients as Home Depot, TJ Maxx, Marshall's, AJ Wright,  HomeGoods, Levitz, CVS, A&P, Albertson's and Pathmark. His vast  experience involves all aspects of development leasing, sales,  management, disposition, land assemblage and financing. Presently, Alan is actively involved in property development, capital placement  and investment sales.

    Chuck Lanyard, President & Founder

 

Chuck has been with The Goldstein Group since 1997 and involved in commercial real estate for over 30 years. Chuck is responsible for the  overall operations of the Retail Brokerage Division. He has  represented retailers such as Marmaxx, Trader Joes, Red Lobster,  Olive Garden, LA-Z-Boy Furniture, Applebee’s, McDonalds, Casual  Male, Rochester Big & Tall, Pier One, Thomasville Furniture, Pizzeria  Uno, Famous Dave’s, TGI Friday’s and Wolfgang Puck Restaurants.
Chuck leads our “Team Paramus” and Restaurant Division. He is a  member of the ICSC Conference Program Planning Committee  and  The New Jersey Restaurant Association.

    Neil Goldstein, Founder

 

Neil co-founded The Goldstein Group in 1986 and has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. He is directly responsible for office administration and management of the Company. As a broker, Neil has successfully completed the expansion of over 90 locations for General Nutrition Centers (GNC) and over 50 locations for Radio Shack.  He has also assisted Marshall’s, HomeGoods, PNC Bank, McDonald's, 7-Eleven, Red Robin, Sertino's Cafe, Casual Male, Pearle Vision, Moto Photo, Strauss Discount Auto and Blockbuster Video with their New Jersey expansion plans.  Neil also represents numerous landlords with their leasing efforts.

    Donald Goldstein, Executive Vice President

 

Donald primarily work's with "Mom and Pop" tenants where he uses his  40 years of retail experience to help guide small chains and start-up  companies. He concentrates on tenants requiring 1,000 to 10,000  square feet and focuses on properties in Northern New Jersey. He also  handles numerous landlord property assignments and has represented  H&R Block, Rainbow Shops, Blimpie, Subway, Hudson City Savings  Bank, LA Weight Loss, Postnet, Party Land, Dots, The Great Frame Up,  Dollarmania, Manhattan Bagel, Rita’s Ices and King Chef Buffet.

    Lew Finkelstein, Vice President

 

Lew became a Vice President at the Company in 2005. Prior to joining  The Goldstein Group, he had 20 years experience operating a wholesale  women's wear business.  His ability to understand all sides of a  transaction, along with his enthusiasm, have led to numerous property  and tenant assignments.  Lew handles numerous landlord property  assignments and also works with 7-Eleven, Great Clips, Raymour &  Flannigan, Sleepy's, Capital One Bank, Strauss Discount Auto, Subway,  Weight Watchers, Bergen Home Fitness, Powerhouse Entertainment,  Lakeland Bank and Children Of America.  Lew is a member of our  “Team Paramus” and Route 46 Sales Team.

    John Luongo, Executive Vice President

 

John joined The Goldstein Group in 2008 and brings to the firm over 25   years of commercial real estate experience including prior affiliations with Cushman & Wakefield Inc. and Grubb & Ellis. John has leased numerous shopping centers from the ground up and has placed such national and regional tenants as Crate & Barrel, Home Depot Expo, Borders Books, Duane Reade, Washington Mutual Bank, Blockbuster Video and Fedex/Kinko. He has completed multiple deals with Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Starbucks and has also represented Citibank and Shell Oil Company in their expansion plans for numerous locations throughout New Jersey. John specializes in the selling and leasing of large properties and land parcels.

    Florian Suserman, Vice President

 

Florian's 20 years of owning and operating a chain of fine gifts and  collectibles stores in regional malls throughout New Jersey has  provided him with valuable retail real estate knowledge. He has also  represented other mall-based tenants with lease negotiations and  construction. He represents over 25 retail properties, ranging from downtown business districts to strip centers and power shopping centers.  Florian represents a wide-range of national and regional retailers throughout New Jersey, such as Smashburger, H&R Block, Planet Fitness, LA Boxing, WOW Cafe & Wingery, Allstate Insurance, Arby's, Blimpie, Dollar General, Hoffman Floors, Bounce U, My Gym, Wine Country, Build-A-Basket and others.

    Tim Kupetz, Investment Sales

 

Tim has over 20 years of experience in all aspects of the real estate  business including leasing, sales, development and management. This  work included representing both landlords and retailers. Tim has worked with such notable retailers as Spencer Gifts, Remington  Products, Liz  Claiborne and Hollywood Tanning. He has worked  extensively with owners and developers such as Paramount Property  Management, The Lightstone Group, and Pyramid Companies. Tim  holds advanced degrees in Business and Psychology.  At The Goldstein  Group, Tim is responsible for Investment Sales, working to match
 buyers and sellers of properties.

    Curtis Nassau, Sales Associate

 

 Curtis gained extensive retail experience from his family's retail  business, Nassau's Windows and Blinds. He is currently representing  Millennium Fitness, El Pollo Loco Restaurants, H&R Block, Ethos Club &  Spa and Hoffman Floors. He has also handled property dispositions for  A&P and Stop & Shop and is representing property owners.     Ryan Glastein, Sales Associate

 

Ryan has proven success in being a progressive business leader in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.  His extensive retail  background of being an owner/operator of his family’s business,  Simple Simon, a chain of upscale food stores,  has provided him with a  strong skill set in sales, marketing, strategic planning, market  research, site improvement, and financial analysis.  Ryan focuses on  property and tenant assignments.  He is currently exclusively  represents Massage Envy with their New Jersey expansion plans, as  well as other tenants, including The Little Gym.

    CJ Huter, Sales Associate

 

CJ's  real estate career began with NRT Inc., the largest residential  brokerage company in the nation, where he was a marketing manager,  as well as a sales person.  He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Marketing from  Rutgers University and is currently enrolled in the NYU graduate program specializing in Real Estate.  Prior to joining The  Goldstein Group, he represented the ARC of Essex County, one of the  largest disability organizations in New Jersey and successfully placed  their customers in residential and commercial spaces.  CJ is

    Jason Gendel, Sales Associate

 

Jason joined The Goldstein Group in 2008. As President and Director of  Sales for a large New Jersey based jewelry and manufacturing  company for over 15 years, Jason has extensive sales expertise in  retail-based businesses. He represents both retailers and landlords  throughout the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan Area. His focus  with The Goldstein Group is selling and leasing of big box properties and  commercial land.

   Mark Handwerker, Sales Associate

 

Mark brings over 20 years of national retail real estate experience to The Goldstein Group.  Most recently, as the Retail Project Manager for North America for Ethan Allen Global Inc., he was responsible for site selection and facilitated the leasing and sale of properties throughout the U.S.  He also handled numerous lease renewals, store relocations and property dispositions throughout North America for the company.  As a highly energized deal maker, Mark’s ability to understand his client’s needs, blended with his history of being on both sides of the table, provides what it takes to get a “win-win” transaction completed. Mark currently represents numerous landlords in procuring tenants for their space, as well as national and regional retailers, including Ethan Allen.

    Matt Flath, Sales Associate

 

Matt joined The Goldstein Group in the summer of 2007 as a marketing  intern.  His strong desire to break into the retail brokerage industry led to the firm offering him a sales associate position upon his graduation in 2008 from the University of Richmond with a dual degree in Economics and Political Science. While studying Economics, Matt performed independent studies of urban economics and the retail sector. He was a student member of the ICSC throughout his collegiate career. Steven has over 20 years experience of owning and operating Burger  King, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Baskin Robbins stores. Bill’s real estate experience spans two decades.  Much of his career has  been as a Corporate Real Estate Director – helping Dunkin’ Donuts,  Liberty Travel and Spin Cycle to successfully execute their expansion  strategy in various Northeast markets.  At The Goldstein Group, Bill  specializes in representing shopping center landlords and retailers in  the rapidly growing trade areas of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren  Counties.
