LODI, NJ, JULY 17, 2006 — The Goldstein Group, New Jersey’s leading full-service retail brokerage firm has announced its affiliate, Goldstein Development along with ARC Properties and Big M Inc., recently acquired a two-acre parcel of land for retail development at the Home Depot Shopping Center located at 400 Springfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey. The land was purchased from Home Depot. Chuck Lanyard, principal and director of brokerage services, and Lew Finkelstein, vice president, are handling the leasing responsibilities for the new development.

Goldstein Development Company (GDC), a newly formed division of The Goldstein Group, will commence construction of a 20,000-square-foot retail building on the site shortly. This is the final phase of a 150,000-square-foot urban redevelopment shopping center in Newark, New Jersey, which is anchored by Home Depot, Applebees and Wendy’s.
