The Foundry
in Trenton, New Jersey.

Performa Trenton LLC has developed a master plan that calls for 130,000-square-feet of retail, entertainment and restaurant space along with 200 residential units in a convenient location adjacent to the Sovereign Bank Arena and the new River Line Light Rail system. Florian Suserman will be handling this assignment for The Goldstein Group.

Tenants that have committed to the project include, Wet Willie’s Daiquiri Bar; Red Cheetah, a martini bar and dance club; Funny Bones Comedy Club; B.B. Kings Blues Cafe; Sal DeForte’s Ristorante, fine-dining Italian restaurant; Cootie Browns, a southern specialty restaurant; and Toad’s Place, a live entertainment, rock club.

“The Foundry is an outstanding concept that perfectly fits with all of the revitalization happening in the city of Trenton,” stated Lanyard. “This entertainment complex is going to be a huge draw. Due to the great lineup of entertainment tenants that have committed to the project and Performa’s construction schedule to have The Foundry open by the end of 2007, we expect leasing to be very aggressive over the next several months.”

The Foundry was created by Performa Entertainment Real Estate, Inc. which specializes in urban entertainment development projects, most notably the highly acclaimed Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee.
